Have you ever asked yourself when you are telling yourself that you aren't good enough, someone is better than you etc, "would I say that to someone I care about?". My guess is you wouldn't. Why is it we are programmed to let everyone else have a bad day and tell them its ok, go with it, tomorrow is another day and yet beat ourselves up and see it as weak if it is us. Having a bad workout, or falling off the food wagon and having something other than our planned food is NOT a failure! It is normal. So what, you got tired and left the gym early or ate what was easy rather than cook because you were tired. Go with it, you are human and life is to be enjoyed. Do not turn the gym into the place you drag yourself to, make it the place you know you will feel great after visiting. When the weather turns and its zero degrees outside at 5am and the car is covered in ice, its a perfectly normal response to not want to venture out in the car. Wrap up and go for a walk. Get some bands and do a 30minute home workout. Whatever you do be kind to yourself. Treat yourself the way you treat others. You are amazing and you can do anything. Set your mind, tell yourself you can and go for it. Be your own best friend and your own cheerleader. 2025 IS JUST ROUND THE CORNER. MAKE IT YOUR YEAR.
